Cambodia
Cambodia is a land where nature, history, and heart intertwine. Mist drifts over jungle temples at dawn, monks in saffron robes walk ancient paths, and wild forests hum with unseen life. Beyond the awe of Angkor, riverways wind through remote sanctuaries where elephants roam free and timeless rhythms unfold. Cambodia invites you to slow down, to listen, and to feel the deep, enduring pulse of Southeast Asia.

Cambodia lies in the Southeast part of Asia and borders with Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, The gulf of Thailand and the South China sea. Cambodia has about 15 million inhabitants that are very hospitable. It has a tropical monsoon climate, with a dry and a wet season. In cities like Phnom Penh (the capital) and Siem Reap, you can visit colorful markets and impressive colonial buildings. There are hundreds of pagodas, of which the Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh is most impressive with more than 5000 silver floor tiles and the Golden Buddha. Off course the temples of Angkor Wat are the most beautiful in the world. One can find the remains of the Khmer empire here of which Angkor was the capital. Inside the temple of Angkor Thom there are other ruins which are also very interesting. Cambodia is a wonderful destination for a beach holiday as well. It has white sandy beaches and undeveloped tropical islands, like Koh Tas or Koh Rong Samloen. If you like to travel somewhat adventurous, you can go hiking in the mountains or the inland and perhaps even encounter some wildlife.
