Best time to travel
The best time to travel to India is within the period from October until december. This is the period of green vegetation, clear skies and comfortable temperatures between 20-30 degrees. October, however, is also the busiest month. The National Parks re-open from the second half of October.
January – March
This is the dry period in India and travelling in this period ensures a nice stay in India. In some parts of India temperatures drop dramatically at night in this period so bring some warm clothing as well.
April – June
April and May are the most humid and warm months of India. June is the first moesson month in the south of India and the Northeastern part.
July – September
This is the official moesson period in India, with July being the most rainy month causing temperatures to drop.
