Karin Bloem, founder and managing director of Wild Times, has lived in Kenya since 1995 and travelled all over the world in search of unique places and experiences for our guests. Wild Times is a true safari specialist but also offers tailor made journeys in Asia following the same concept as our African safaris: unique, personal, tailor made and preferably off the beaten track.

Our main goal is to give our guests an unforgettable safari experience. Be it a romantic, luxurious or adventurous safari, we make it happen. We love to offer you a unique experience! You can chose from a wide variety of actities: visit local tribes, escorted game walks, horse riding or camels safaris, balloon safaris and more. Naturally we offer a wide range of water sports like sailing, canoeing, deep sea fishing, diving, snorkelling kite surfing etc.

Wild Times strongly believes in sustainable tourism and therefore prefers to work with camps and lodges that are managed eco friendly, support local communitees and/or are involved in conservation. So when you travel with us you contribute to the local people and conservation.
Value for Money
You might think that a safari is cheaper when you book online. This is not true! We have special cont(r)acts with all suppliers (lodges, hotels, airlines etc.) so you book at the same rate but get our service and advise for free. We also have low running costs so you can be assured of the best value for money.

All camps look fantastic on the internet. But what is true? Which camp would fit you best? What is the best routing, is everything included, and who will help you in case of emergency?
We work with reliable partners, who share the latest updates in constantly changing countries: which camp offers the best experience, what are the latest offers, what are the best places, roads, airlines etc. Also, our partners are around when you are on safari! So they welcome you upon arrival and are around to assist if you need help.
Impartial Advice
Wild Times is owner-run, we don’t own lodges and are independent, so we offer impartial advice on the best camps, activities and logistics. When you deal directly with a chain of lodges, you will probably only visit their properties. We feel it’s much nicer to stay in different camps and to get a feel of the various styles that are available.
Working in a complicated and often unpredictable destinations, flexibility is of great importance. At Wild Times, we are small and personalised and pride ourselves in flexibility.
