Bij aankomst op het vliegveld van Lilongwe, wordt u welkom geheten door uw gids. Uw accommodatie is de rustige Kumbali Country Lodge.\u00a0Kumbali Country Lodge is een priv\u00e9 lodge, gelegen op een terrein van 650 hectare bos\u00a0en de regio kent veel agrarische bedrijven. Het ligt op slechts 10 minuten van de hoofdstad Lilongwe, langs een rustige verkeersvrije weg. De accommodatie is stijlvol, ontspannen en informeel en biedt veel meer dan alleen het gevoel van een hotel. Na het passeren van de grens rijdt u direct door naar het Wildlife Camp.\u00a0Drie nachten verblijft u aan de oevers van de Luangwa River op deze unieke locatie. Eerste Rang plaatsen bij \u00e9\u00e9n van de mooiste \u2018wildlife sanctuaries\u2019 in Afrika. Het verblijf is inclusief alle maaltijden en activiteiten,\u00a0 waaronder wandelsafari\u2019s. Dit Nationale Park is tevens \u00e9\u00e9n van de weinige plekken in Afrika waar je nacht game drives kunt maken. Vanaf het plaatsje Salima vaart u richting Nankoma Island en verblijft in de Luxe Safari Tenten van de Blue Zebra Lodge. Vanuit de lodge heeft u een prachtig uitzicht over het meer met zijn kristalheldere water. Er is een mooi zwembad waar het goed toeven is en er zijn kayaks beschikbaar voor een tocht rondom het eiland. U kunt hier ook gratis gebruik maken van alle snorkelmaterialen om de wonderen van de onderwaterwereld te gaan bekijken. Allereerst checkt u in bij de Lujeri Lodge voordat u een bezoek brengt aan het gelijknamige Tea Estate. Het hotel is een prachtig in koloniale stijl gerenoveerd huis op een ideale plek \u00e9n met een enorm vriendelijke staf. In de omgeving zijn heerlijke wandelingen te maken, van stoere beklimmingen tot rustige tracks. Ons hotel ligt schitterend en is kleinschalig. Zomba Forest Lodge heeft vier kamers en ligt in een prachtige tuin. De stallen van de paarden zijn zeer dichtbij en een rit is zo geregeld. U verblijft in\u00a0Mvuu Camp, met uitzicht op de rivier de Shire die de habitat is voor vele hippo\u2019s krokodillen en een grote hoeveelheid vogelssoorten.\u00a0Het camp is een mix van stenen en canvas chalets en de lounge en restaurant liggen tussen twee enorme baobab bomen in. Diners worden soms onder de sterren geserveerd in een Afrikaanse boma. Er zijn verschillende wandelingen mogelijk en veel activiteiten zijn inclusief. Daar reist u verder per boot naar het schitterende eiland Domwe\u00a0waar u de komende twee nachten verblijft in een safari tent.
