Afrika. When the dry desert longs for rain in the Makgadikgadi Park and the first rains hit the ground in the saltpans, thousands of zebra start their journey across this bizar landscape. The grass sprouts due to the rain and lures the animals to the\u00a0 Nxai Pan, which soon becomes an area where the zebra bear their foals. The herds then continue their path to the Boteti river, where they will graze until the winter months of the Southern halfhemisphere has passed. Not just the thousands of zebra form a thoroughly enjoyable sight for the eyes, the majestic\u00a0 Baines&#8217; baobab trees join in. Now they are oceans with little islands of trees and smaller saltpans that are filled with water. On several of these little islands\u00a0 the largest famous Baines Baobabs stand. Already in the year of 1860 explorer Baines drew the first drawings of the trees. This area is part of the\u00a0 Okavango Delta.<\/p>\n<p>The area is unfenced and thus the game can go freely in out of the area. In the dry season this means that the animals can access the water and in the wet season they will go back to the forest areas.
