	Winelands The Winelands in South Africa are ideal to learn about South Africa’s history and to taste its world-famous wines. Stellenbosch and Paarl clearly show the Dutch fingerprint in their architecture. The town of Franschhoek is one of the oldest towns in South Africa and is also special because of its beautiful location. Franschhoek is known for its many important vineyards and in the village you will find several of South Africa’s best restaurants. The village and flowery setting is a tourist attraction and is often visited along with Stellenbosch from Cape Town.
	Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve The most well known private game reserve in South Africa is without a doubt Sabi Sands, next to the Kruger National Park. Sabi Sands offers a safari experience like no other in the world. You can find the Big Five here and some of the most amazing and unique safari lodges. Sabi Sands is well known for your chances of seeing leopard. This elusive animal is fruquently seen in the Sabi Sands. 	Madikwe Game Reserve Madikwe Game Reserve is the fourth largest game reserve in South Africa. It is also one of the least known reserves where you can experience the real safari feeling. One of the big advantages of the reserve is that it is malaria free. And you can spot the African Wild Dog here with a bit of luck! Madikwe lies about 90 kilometers north of Zeerust, at roughly 4 – 5 hours drive of Johannesburg and Pretoria.
	Lesotho Lesotho is an enclave, built at an incredible altitude in middle of South Africa. It is also known by the locals as ”Kingdom in the sky”. This idyllic little kingdom guarantees beautiful views, birdlife and unique flora. For hikers Lesotho offers many interesting hiking trails, which also can be done on horseback. 	Kwazulu Natal Kwazulu Natal is the home of the Zulu and has much to offer. Drakensberg is an absolute must. In this province lies the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Reserve, the second most famous national park in South Africa. For the traveler who is interested in South African history, there are the Battlefields. Dolphin Coast and Wetlands Area in St. Lucia are two other highlights in this province that will enrich your safari.
	Krugerpark The Kruger Park is located east of Johannesburg, bordering Mozambique and Zimbabwe. In the park, you have a great chance to spot the Big Five (lion, rhino, leopard, elephant and buffalo). The” Big Five” takes its name from the fact that these animals were regarded in the past as the most dangerous to hunt. You can stay in the Kruger Park itself or in the surrounding private parks which provide a more tranquile experience.
	Little Karoo (or Klein Karoo) Little Karoo lies between four mountain ranges: the Swartberg Mountains, Long Mountains, and the Outeniqua Mountains Kamanassie. 	Cape Town Cape Town was established in the 17th century when the V.O.C. decided to establish a trading post. In the following centuries, it became a melting pot of different nationalities. Its unique archeological location and its historic sites such as Waterfront, with Dutch influences in architecture, give Cape Town a unique charm.
	Johannesburg Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa and the heart of the South African economy, particularly through the gold industry and business. Johannesburg is known for its skyscrapers and its rich history. The historical town of Soweto is on your doorstep while visiting Joburg. The history of Soweto coincides with the emergence of apartheid in South Africa and was originally created to house white South Africans. Nowadays, over five million people live in Joburg.
	Garden Route Between Swellendam and Port Elizabeth lies a beautiful coastline known as the Garden Route. Here you will find South Africa’s most beautiful beaches and charming coastal towns. In Kaapstad kun je tijdens een sunset cruise vanuit het Victoria & Alfred Waterfront de dolfijnen voor de boot uit zien zwemmen.
	Wijn proeven in Zuid-Afrika Op een half uur van Kaapstad begint het Kaapse Wijnland, een gebied met schitterende bergen, groene valleien, wijngaarden en boomgaarden vol fruit. U vindt hier de bekende landhuizen met de zeer herkenbare Kaaps-Hollandse stijl. Vanwege het gunstige klimaat en de vruchtbare grond is dit gebied uitermate geschikt voor de wijnbouw.
	Walvissen Spotten in Zuid-Afrika Een spectaculaire belevenis is om walvissen te zien. Deze reusachtige dieren vind je in Zuid Afrika van juni tot oktober in de Indische Ocean. In deze periode komen ze om te paren en om hun jongen de eerste veilige maanden te geven in de ondiepe wateren van de Indische Oceaan. Er zijn verschillende manieren. Dagelijks gaan boten vanuit Hermanus de zee op om deze indrukwekkende dieren rond te zien zwemmen. Maar onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een uniek privé huis aan de kust vanwaar je vanuit je bed de walvissen voorbij ziet zwemmen.
	Bezoek Robbeneiland Robbeneiland is een historische plek. De meeste mensen kennen het vanwege de tijd die Nelson Mandela er in gevangenschap doorbracht. Echter, de VOC gebruikte het eiland al om tegenstanders gevangen te zetten.
