Where Adventure Finds Grace
From forest sanctuaries to sunlit seas,
Thailand is wild, soulful, and endlessly inviting.
“Thailand was, after having traveled with Wild Times to Kenya, a totally different and enjoyable travel experience. We had two lovely and knowledgeable guides who showed us the local Thailand. Highlights for me were the delicious food in the smallest stalls and restaurants and experience the silence of the countryside while floating down a river on a raft. For the kids the high lights were the balloon ride, zip-lining for two hours, the swimming pools, the boat ride in Bangkok and the fun guides & drivers.”
$ 1,535 Thailand is an adventure paradise. Rafting by boat and bamboo, visit friendly tribes and villages and explore the jungle and meet it’s wildlife. Together with the pristine white beaches, colorful markets and famous tempels this trip has all ingredients for an experience of a lifetime!
$ 1,793 Thailand has been a traveller’s favourite for many years. On this tour you will step back in time and discover the glorious temples, visit acient kingdoms and enjoy local delicacies. This “Land of Smiles” with his coulorful tribes and markets will create memories to last a lifetime. |
Khao Yai National Park Khao Yai National Park’s forests are teeming with wildlife and birds, making it a spectacular destination in Thailand. Look up and down and from side, tread softly, and listen carefully to discover the real inhabitants of the forest. Gibbons provide an excellent morning wake-up call with their mournful hoots. Quiet, patient walkers may catch a glimpse of these treeliving apes. Macaques are often seen on the roadsides.
Khao Sok Khao Sok National Park in Southern Thailand is an amazing place. It is perfectly situated on the mainland between Phuket, Krabi, Khao Lak and Koh Samui; the most popular destinations in southern Thailand. Elephant trekking, trekking on foot, canoeing and jeep safaris are all possible activities which will give you the experience of a lifetime. One of the most interesting areas is stunningly beautiful Cheow Larn Lake in the heart of the National Park with its floating raft houses and luxury tents.
Chiang Mai Chang Mai, Thailand’s second-largest city and the gateway to the country’s north, was founded in 1296. You can still see the moat that encircled the original city, and there are 300 wats, including Wat Chiang Man (home of the 1800-year-old 10cm-high Crystal Buddha), Wat Phra Singh (built in the classic northern-Thai style) and Wat Chedi Luang (partially ruined by earthquake, cannon fire and recent restoration efforts).
Bangkok Bangkok is an amazing city with quite a few redeeming factors. For a city of this size, Bangkok is surprisingly full of quiet escapes. Just step out of the street noise and into the calm of one of the city’s 400 wats (temple-monasteries) or take a river taxi on the Chao Phraya River. It is one of the safest capital cities of any Asian country, a trait, which is in line with the rest of the Thailand. |
