In the 1970s Bazaruto National Park was established to protect its marine area. Today it is the largest marine reserve in the Indian Ocean. Snorkeling, scuba diving and fishing including sailfish and marlin are some of the activities available here. The Bazaruto Archipelago has become one of Mozambique’s most trendy beach destinations, but thanks to the dedication of the country to sustainable tourism, the beaches are still pristine. Pure white sand beaches and a lovely warm sea is what you will find at the Bazaruto Archipelago.
