Ho Chi Minh City – the former Saigon – is the largest city in Vietnam and is located in the south of the country. It is a vibrant and tropical city, with many attractions. Led by a private guide, you can visit various temples, palaces, museums, markets and Chinatown.
From Ho Chi Minh you ca also visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. This network of subterranean tunnels formed during the American / Vietnamese war, was the perfect hide-out for the Vietcong. It was never conquered and was of incredible value to the Vietnamese resistance during the war.
From Ho Chi Minh the Mekong Delta is also a great next stop.
