Description
Making eye contact with chimpansees is fascinating. Loudly screaming and screeching they will jump through the forest. Stamping on trees they are making a hell of a noise. Just those sounds during a meeting with these primates will make your experience a special one!
Kibale Forest is a beautiful and misty forest lying at about 1100 to 1600 meters altitude. In the lower parts swamps can be found with vast amounts of papyrus. Around them huge age old trees of more than 50 meters high. The fringe monkey lives here.
Next to many species of monkeys you can also find many other mammals here. For instance the rare bush elephants, stunning birds and about 150 species of butterflies in all sorts and colors.
