Description
The town of Lamu originated as a 14th century Swahili town, but many nationalities have left their traces in architecture and many traditions have derived from its Portugeese explorers, Turkish traders and the Omani Arabs. Beautiful dunes and endless white beaches with endless horizons constitute the landscape of this island so for a bit of nature and culture Lamu is the place to be in Kenya.
