Description
Accommodation
Eight ensuite-tents are situated along the river under huge Walburgia trees. The tents are decorated in a warm colonial style and all have ensuite bathrooms with safari shower and toilet. From the veranda you have a beautiful view over the savanna. Meals are prepared by safari chefs and served in the open air with views over the Mara river. They are a mix of mediterranean kitchen with an African twist, whereby the chefs use local seasonal tropical fruits and vegetables that are grown organically.
The camp is active all year, migration from July through to October, followed by birthing season from October to March. April and May offer the best options for birders and those that enjoy the peace and quiet of the low season.
Activities
Game drives, sundowners (drinks with setting sun, preferably with a stunning view where possible), bush walks with Masai guides, visits to local Masai villages, picnics in the bush, balloon safaris.
