Description
Elsa’s Kopje is situated in the Mughwango Hill, and is the spot where George Adamson had his first original camp. Characteristic for Meru National Park are the barren, open plains with Doum Palms, Baobabs and opulent vegetation alongside many rivers. The lodge submerges fully into the environment and gives a sense of originality.
There are only 10 luxury cottages, that offer a unique view and they have been integrated into the rocky outcrops. Each cottage has a double bed or two single beds and bathrooms have been elegantly furnished. There is an open bar, lounge and infinity pool with breathtaking view of up to 270 degrees.
At Elsa’s Kopje you can go on (night) game drives with professional guides. Other activities include guided bush walks, fishing, swimming, massages. In the evening you can enjoy the sunsets while sipping on a cocktail.
Elsa’s Kopje is easily reached, either by road or by air. There are daily flights to the Meru airstrip.
