Program & Routing:
Day 1 & 2: Waterberry Lodge, Livingstone National Park
On arrival at Livingstone International Airport you will be welcomed by our representative and transfered to your lodge where you will stay the next two nights.
Waterberry Lodge lies on the banks of the Zambezi river, at approx 25 kilometers of the falls. The intimate and cosy atmosphere, in combination with the impresse views on the reserve with its fauna, makes it an ideal base for many highlights. l
There are just seven cottages with grass roofs and comfortable beds in lush bush area and they are a wonderful spot to be after a day full of exciting activities.
During your stay here you can visit the falls, and there are several other activities that you can do: fising, boat cruises, picnics, game walks and game drives.
After breakfast on your last day in Livingstone you will be transfered to Chobe Elephant Camp where you will stay another two nights.
Day 3 & 4: Chobe Elephant Camp, Chobe National Park
Chobe Elephant Camp is situated on the edge of a rocky hill that has views on the Chobe river. The lodge is built in traditional fashin with sand bags, which is why the lodge breahte an air of an old farm of yonder days. The lodge only has ten rooms, of which one family room, and there is a total capacity of just 24 guests.
From Chobe Elephant Camp you can do several activities such as game drives in a 4 x 4 vehicle and boat cruises on the Chobe river, or do a walking safari in the Forest Reserve. You can also do a visit to a nearby village.
Day 5 & 6: Kwara Camp, Privat concession Okavango Delta
After an early game drive or game walk, transfer will follow to Kasane Airport for your flight to Kwara Camp.
Kwara Camp is an exclusive camp that lies on a private concession at the edge of the world famous Okavango Delta in Botswana.
Just eight luxury safari tents with a total capacity of 16 guests are buildt on stilted decks in the bush of age aold African ebony trees. Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom with a bath and a veranda with stunning views.
From Kwara Camp you can go on game drives, walking safaris and boat excursions in the Okavango Delta. It is also possible to do night game drives, so you can go game spotting at night!
Day 7 & 8: Pom Pom Camp, Okavango Delta
After an game drive or game walk and breakfast your transfer to the airstrip follows and you will fly to a different camp in the Delta with a different experience. The Pom Pom Camp will be your home for two nights.
Pom Pom Camp is hidden in a private concession in the Okavango Delta. You can also do game drive in the night from this camp. It is a classic safari camp and only has 9 exclusive safari tents. It is very remote and gives you the feeling of being totally on your own in this amazing piece of the world.
Most of the rooms and the public areas offfer stunning views over the Delta and the pool offers some nice relaxation and cooling off after a hot day. Chat to other guests about your experiences of the day at the fire at night!
Activities in this Delta paradise: game drives, night game drives, walking safaris and mokoro – (traditional canoe) and boat cruises with local guides. Hippos, crocodiles, and predators such as leopards and lions can all be seen in the area.
Day 9 & 10: Nxai Pan Camp, Nxai Pan
After your last early game drive or game walk and breakfast in the Delta, transfer will follow to the airstrip and you will fly to Nxai Pan Camp.
Nxai Pan Camp lies at the border with the Makgadikgadi Pans hidden in trees.
Nxai Pan has eight spacious safari tents with ensuite bathroom that resemble the natural area. The lounge area has a deck that offers beautiful views on the surroundings. Nxai Pan Camp also has a pool, library, and souvenirshop.
There are loads of zebra, springbuck, and other plains game in the area, that attract predators. You will have quite a big chance to lions, cheeta, leopards, hyena and jackal here. There are different activities: game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles, game walks, boat cruises and mountainbiking.
Day 11: Departure
This is a sad day; it is time to say goodbye to Botswana, your local flight to Maun is set to take off after your last activity of the day and onwards you will fly home.
