Program & Route:
Day 1-4: Selous National Park, Selous Wilderness Camp, 4 nights
Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport, transfer to domestic terminal for local flight to the Selous, Mtemere airstrip. Road transfer to camp, located close to the Rufiji River.
After lunch, enjoy a sunset boat safari on the Rufiji river.
Choose two activities per day (or full day game drives in the Selous) either boat safari, walking safari or a fantastic game drive.
Day 5-6: Zanzibar, Swahili House, 2 nights
After morning walking safari and breakfast, follows a transfer per boat and 4×4 back to Mtemere airstrip in order to connect with a local flight to Zanzibar. Meet & great at Zanzibar Airport, transfer to the hotel for the next two nights in Stone Town.
Enjoy a sunset drink on one of the rooftops in Stone Town after a day of walking around the town which has had so many influences through the years.
Day 7-9: Zanzibar, Fumba Beach Lodge, Half Board, 3 nights
Today it is time for a road transfer to your beach lodge, where you will stay for the next four nights.
There are various optional activities such as (non) motorized watersports and just pure bliss relaxing.
Dag 10: Departure
Today, check out and leave your luggage at the reception of the lodge. Another free day and later in the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
