In eastern Zambia is one of the most green parks of Africa: Luangwa National Park. The Luangwa River meanders from north to south, with evergreen forests on the banks of the river at almost every part. The lodges located in Luangwa National Park are remote and ideal for game walking. You can also choose to hike from camp to camp. This is unique in Africa. In the dry season, between August and October, the wildlife is concentrated in the lagoons and waterholes making this the best time to spot the larger animals, such as lions, leopards, buffalo and puku.
