Activities
Viewing the sunrise at Mount Bromo is one of the worlds most beautiful natural sights and climbing an active volcano is a rare experience. Seeing the smoke rising from the Bromo crater creates a feeling words cannot express.
The Ijen volcano on East-Java, with perhaps the most spectacular volcanic crater, is special because of its natural environment, its turquoise sulfur lake, its blue fire and the sulfur mining. Twice a day workers enter the crater to collect between 75 kilos and 90 kilos of sulfur, facing toxic gases, and carry out of the live volcano in a trial of about two hours. | |
Komodo National Park is home to the prehistoric Komodo Dragon, the biggest and most lethal lizard on earth. They can reach lengths of up to three meters and are surprisingly fast. Spotting one of these incredible creatures is an experience of a lifetime. |
Best time to travel
